About Jenna

Jenna began her musical journey at age five studying piano.  By age eleven she began studying voice.  Soon after, she picked up the flute, trumpet, and guitar.  Throughout her high school years Jenna took every opportunity to perform in plays, musicals, clubs, restaurants, and with the American Music Abroad throughout Europe.  In her senior year of high school Jenna was accepted into the Harrisburg Arts Magnet School.  It was here she had the opportunity to study in depth the art of Musical Theater.

After high school Jenna was accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston where she studied for four years as a double major in performance and songwriting with an emphasis in voice. It was at Berklee where she was blessed to study with many wonderful renowned musicians, performers, and writers such as, Livingston Taylor, Pat Pattison, John Aldrich, and Larry Watson.

After leaving Berklee and marring her college sweetheart Sean-David McGoran, Jenna took the position at Christian Faith School in Seattle, Washington as the elementary music teacher and choir director.  In addition to teaching in a classroom, Jenna began teaching privately in her own home studio.

In 2000 Jenna wrote, performed, and produced her debut album, 180 Degrees, with husband Sean-David McGoran.  Jenna and her husband began writing personalized songs for special occasions under the name “Love Songs”.  Jenna has since performed her music in a variety of venues across the United States and in Ujongbu, Korea.

Jenna, along with her husband, has written songs for and helped produce other artists, performed on and written a variety of jingles and songs for young dancers.

Jenna currently resides in Fort Smith, Arkansas with her husband and two beautiful daughters.  Jenna and her husband both homeschool, lead worship, teach privately, write, and perform.  Jenna is currently working on her next CD releases entitled “Your Grace In My Life”.
